FAQs
What if I don't know what makeup I want?
This is really common - I'd say most of my brides don't at first. This is why I'll send you my bridal trial guide, to not only help you prepare before you arrive, but also help you think about and gather inspiration in a way that is unique to you. At your trial, we talk through what feels right, what doesn't and perfect your look together.
When should I book makeup for my wedding?
Dates do book well in advance, especially for weekends and peak season. Once your date and venue are set, I'd always recommend getting in touch soon after so you can save your date.
What if I don't usually wear much makeup?
You don't need to be super "into makeup" to book me. I actually love creating makeup looks for brides who don't wear much We take things step by step, and everything is designed to feel wearable and comfortable for you.
What products do you use?
I have spent a long time carefully curating a kit that works for me and my brides. Beautiful, luxury skincare to create the best possible base, so that your makeup sits comfortably and wears beautifully. Makeup is never chosen just to look nice in my kit (although that is always a bonus!). Every product has earned its place by performing beautifully on the skin, lasting well and looking stunning in photography. In my kit you'll find lots of well known brands including Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, NARS, Lisa Eldridge, Veuve, Hourglass, Dior and Rare Beauty, as well as several smaller and pro makeup artist brands.
Do you travel?
Yes of course! I travel for weddings throughout the UK and Europe.
Do you recommend any hair sylists?
I have a number of trusted hairstylists that I work with and that match my style and ethos. Let me know when you get in touch and I can send you my recommendations.
Do you have any additional costs?
I will send you a full personalised quote based on your venue and party size. Second artist fees may apply when I need an extra pair hands to accommodate your party size or time. The fee for a second artist is £100. A venue changeover fee of £40 will apply if it is necessary to move locations mid way through getting ready. Weddings/events that require me to travel before 6am will require an overnight stay beforehand. All additional costs will be clearly listed within your quote. If details change prior to the wedding (for example party numbers) and these additional costs apply, this will be clearly communicated and discussed before confirming.
